MEL KNIGHT Speaks Out

Energy Minister Mel Knight is saying "buyer beware" about buying property along a TUC. Here's an excerpt from an article found online at the Edmonton Journal, October 5th:

Homeowners who purchased land near transportation and utility corridors should have been aware a power line might be built there someday, Energy Minister Mel Knight said Monday.

"It's a bit of buyer beware," Knight told The Journal's editorial board. "I don't think it's ever been a secret what transmission utility corridors were meant to achieve.
