Residents' Concerns Do Not Justify Burying the Line

EPCOR and AltaLink have filed the Heartland application to the AUC and have stated that "athough stakeholders may believe that ... [burying lines or using monopoles] options would mitigate concerns with respect to potential visual, property value and EMF (electro-magnetic field) impacts, the heartland team believes that, based on the information and studies provided in this application, the additional cost of either option is not justified".
